Pamela Takacs

Pam is a Goldwell Color Ambassador. She has 21 years of experience in every area of specialized hair color and has trained extensively with industry leaders from Wella, L’Oreal Professional, Redken, Schwarzkopf, Kemon, and Goldwell. She is a member of The International Hair Color Exchange. A 25-year resident of Northville, she holds an Associate’s Degree of Liberal Arts in business management. Pam is also a member of First Presbyterian Church of Northville and is presently involved with their early childhood education program.

John Takacs

John has a background in clinical psychology and communications from Eastern Michigan University. He has received significant  technical training in hair cutting and advanced design during his 18 years in cosmetology.  John continues to pursue educational opportunities and stay current with products and techniques in his field. He is a past member of Americoif and a two time recipient of Michigan Hairdresser of the Year Tiffany awards. He is a founding member and presenter of the Nailco Artistic team. John is a 15-year Northville resident and a member and Deacon at First Presbyterian Church of Northville.

Julie Geeter

Julie graduated from the Michigan College of Beauty in Troy, Michigan and has been a licensed Esthetician for over 13 years. She has extensive training and specializes in using the Dermalogica, Bio Elements, Aveda, and Merle Norman skincare lines. Julie also brings vast product exposure from the Trucco, TIGI, and  Jane Iredale cosmetic lines. Julie has worked with a wide variety of clientele ranging from nervous ballerinas at dance recitals, to excited (and more nervous) bridal parties, to actors and models for television commercials. Her passion for make-up is easy to see and she loves assisting in the transformation from pretty to beautiful! Julie is a MAC Pro markup artist and is thrilled about her own line of airbrush makeup, Look In Place!

Ashley Brenneman

Ashley studied business at Michigan State University and sales and marketing at Wayne State University. She worked in a small networking group and gaining insight into today’s Internet marketing systems.  In California, she  worked at a high-end hotel and began selling hair products as a side job. Ashley decided that the hair industry was where she wanted to continue her career and returned to Michigan. Ashley  is now sharing her passion for customer service at Salon Unity as Receptionist. She is eager to represent the new salon with an exciting, energetic, and innovative approach. Ashley hopes to assist Salon Unity in becoming the family salon people know and love.

Teresa Troiani

Teresa is a hairstylist and color specialist. She has a vibrant, full-of-life personality and loves making clients a top priority. Teresa has 7 years of experience and received training using TIGI Bedhead products; classes in styling, cutting, and texturizing; L’Oreal up-styling; and Goldwell color education in creative and corrective color. Teresa specializes in extensions, custom cutting, coloring and styling. Her personal goal is to create a full, positive and comfortable experience from start to finish. She is confident you will be 100% satisfied when you leave her care.

Samantha Petko

Samantha’s passion for the art of hair began early at the age of 18 and has been in the industry ever since. She works extremely well with thick, course, and curly hair. For the past 11 years, Samantha has specialized in everything from cuts, color, highlights, blow-dry, and styles. She is trained in TIGI, L’Oreal, Crew and Goldwell color.  Samantha prides herself on giving each client her individual care and attention. She lives in Royal Oak with her husband and little girl. Samantha is proud to be a part of the team at Salon Unity and is happy to call it her home away from home.
